The Towne Plaza

If you’re looking for a cozy and delicious brunch spot in Traverse City, The Towne Plaza is an absolute must-visit! I make it a point to eat breakfast or brunch here each time I visit TC. I think I am on dining experience number 11 here!  I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant again and I have nothing but positive things to say. My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. 

First and foremost, the food is outstanding. I ordered the Chicken Benedict, which is my usual go-to. It’s an uncommon rendition of Eggs Benedict, but it’s worth stepping outside the box. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, the smoked fontina cheese sauce was rich and creamy, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful.  The breading on the chicken was crumbly and toasted but wasn’t too heavy.  I like the unique accompaniment of the Bibb lettuce because it is an unlikely pairing. I appreciate the generous portion size – I left feeling full and satisfied.

But it’s not just the food that sets The Towne Plaza apart. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with rustic yet modern decor that makes you feel right at home.  The staff is friendly and attentive, always ensuring that their guests are well taken care of.

I also love the location – right in the heart of downtown Traverse City and a block away from Espresso Bay. After our meal, we were able to stroll around the charming streets and take in the local sights with a Peppermint Crunch Cold Brew Coffee.

Overall, I highly recommend The Towne Plaza to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable brunch experience in Traverse City. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant is not to be missed!
