Brew Detroit

A pint of beer in Brew Detroit.

When I first stumbled upon Brew Detroit, I was on the hunt for a coffee stout that would knock my socks off. As an avid lover of both coffee and beer, I was eager to try something that combined the two in a unique and flavorful way. That’s when I saw the Cold Brew Detroit Stout on the shelf at Total Wine, and I knew I had to give it a try.

From the first sip, I was hooked. The way Brew Detroit pays homage to Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company’s Motor City blend is nothing short of sensational. The richness of the coffee flavor blends perfectly with the boldness of the stout, creating a taste that is both complex and delicious. It’s the kind of beer that you want to write home about…and to anyone who will listen.

But what really sets Brew Detroit apart from other breweries is their connection and appreciation for city of Detroit. From the moment you step into their taproom, you can feel the Motor City vibe in every corner. The decor is eclectic and unique, from the stunning octopus mural to the massive chalkboard walls by the shuffleboard table. It’s clear that the folks at Brew Detroit have poured their hearts and souls into creating a space that reflects the ingenuity and creativity of the city they call home.

Let’s not forget about the beer! The central bar is large and inviting, and the staff are always attentive and friendly. If you’re a seasoned beer drinker or a newbie to the craft beer scene, Brew Detroit is the kind of place where you can feel at home and try something new.

Oh, and did I mention their pizza? If you’re looking for a delicious slice to pair with your Cold Brew Detroit Stout, I highly recommend trying The Joe. It’s got just the right amount of heat with the chili flakes, and the flavors complement the beer perfectly.

Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Brew Detroit. From their amazing beer to their commitment to the city of Detroit, they truly are a gem in the craft beer world. If you haven’t tried their Cold Brew Detroit Stout yet, do yourself a favor and pick up a can. You won’t be disappointed!
